I'm not afraid of loneliness; I do not believe in it. But there are times when I feel so alone that it crushes me, and I am very much unable to move. But loneliness isn't something I fear; it is an obstacle that I must get over; and so I cannot fear it, otherwise it will become something that is able to destroy me. Also; remember, Americans aren't afraid of anything. use a more diluted word. its too polarized. Example: do you feel alone emotionally at times? "often (daily or more)" "Sometimes"(Maybe once a week, once a month)" etc following with a question like "does this emotional aloneness affect your everyday life?" "in a positive or negative way?"
